Celebs Read Mean Tweets...

about themselves. We all know how mean people can be on Twitter and people can be even more cruel to celebrities. So Jimmy Kimmel did a segment on his show about the abuse they receive everyday on Twitter and it is really funny. The video features celebs like Kristen Stewart, Matt LeBlanc, James Van Der Beek, Katy Perry, and Zooey Deschanel. But to me, the bit with Matt LeBlanc was the funniest. He was like "go bleep yourself" and that's always fun.

It is nice to see that some celebs can take a joke and not get too offended. I don't know if I could have been as cool, so kudos to them!

7 TV Shows That Need To Go Away!

Madamenoire.com composed a list of 7 shows they believe should have called it quits awhile back. Show that made their list inlude:

• 106 and Park
• Jersey Shore
• The Game
• The Real World
• American Idol
• Basketball Wives
• Teen Mom

I agree with all of the shows they mentioned. But I want to add my 2 cents and include a few shows I also think should go away!

• Bad Girls Club - None of the girls are really bad, just loud and crazy. There's a difference.
• Gossip Girl - Everyone used to talk about this show, now I hear nothing about it. 
• America's Next Top Model - Got boring after a few seasons. Plus the models never make a big splash.
• Toddlers and Tiaras - If  we've seen one little girl dressed like a hooker, we've seen them all. It's creepy.
• Keeping Up With the Kardashians - Boring because who cares anymore? But I still love Khloe & Lamar.
• Two and a Half Men - Boring after Charlie Sheen's crazy self was fired
• Love & Hip-Hop - The first and second seasons in NYC were pretty good, but this trashy third season in Atlanta is way too scripted and sleazy.

What I'm Watching

Up tonight is...

Chloe on LifeTime. I watched this movie once when it first came out, but haven''t seen it since and can't wait to watch it. It stars Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, and my favorite doe-eyed girl Amanda Seyfried.

All remember about this movie is that is was scandalous. Amanda was a high class prostitute and was all kinds of crazy. So I can't wait to watch this movie again.

Then tomorrow I am watching...

An Officer and a Murder on Lifetime Movie Network  7:00PM. This is one of the many Inspired by a true story movies they have been showing lately and I really want to see it.

Then Sunday I am watching...

WTH...SOA Season 5 Teaser!

Kurt Sutter tweeted a link to a Sons of Anarchy teaser on his blog earlier tonight. It is super short and does exactly what it is supposed to do, tease the audience. Boy did it ever do just that. It left me saying "WTH... did Jax just die"? Oh no, no, no! This has to be symbolic or something because Jax can't get killed off, can he? Not when he finally takes his rightful spot at the head of the table. September can't come soon enough.

Is Tara the New Bubba on True Blood?

As I mentioned in my True Blood season premiere recap, Tara is dead. Well, not exactly. She was turned by Pam(don't ask why). Well after writing that post I started reading other blogs and articles discussing the episode and there are many questions about this upcoming season. One of the main questions involves Tara and how normal a vampire she will be. Some are saying she won't be "all there" because of the shot to the head and will possibly be the TV version of Bubba from the books.

I always wondered why they left Bubba out. He was a big part of the books and really balanced everything out, so I was upset when he never joined the cast. But if Tara becomes something similar to Bubba, then I guess that might work. Lord knows she really shouldn't even be a big part of the show according to the books, so they obviously have big plans for Tara. 

"True Blood" Season 5 Premiere Recap

I have one question, where the heck was Christopher Meloni in this episode? Every since I heard that he was joining the cast,  I have been waiting to see him as a vamp. And I was upset that I have to wait to next week or how ever long, to see him. I can't go that long without my Meloni fix. 

Besides that, the episode was eventful. It took me a moment to remember all that happened on last season's finale, but I quickly caught up. I am also amazed at how far from the book they stray. I mean, what are they thinking. In the book a few of the main characters were dead by now and some never existed. But that's neither here nor there.

So here's the rundown:  *SPOILER ALERT!!!*

• Eric and Bill are on the run from the Authority with Eric's "sister" Nora
• Russell is alive
• Sam has been kidnapped by Marcus' pack
• Sookie clearing here kitchen of blood (again)
• Lafayette is dealing with the death of Tara and Jesus
• Tara is dead, but is made a vamp by Pam (ikr?)
• and other stuff that didn't seem too relevant to me

And that is basically it. All I know is that there better be alot of Eric and Alcide in this season. Bill can go away forever. I am curious to see more of Jessica too. For some reason she is so interesting to me. Maybe it's here beautiful red hair or maybe because she seems so dark but innocent? I dunno.

Best TV Theme Songs…IMO

Here is a list of some of my favorite TV theme songs. These are the few theme songs I never fast forward through and the songs that have been embedded in my brain forever.

"Desperate Housewives" Series Finale!

Well the final episode of  "Desperate Housewives" aired last night and it left me saying, "huh." Don't get me wrong, overall the show was good. But I felt like it was played a little too safe. I was expecting some wild and crazy antics like the first seasons but that was not so. But we did see Bree beat going to jail, Renee get married, Julie have her baby, Mrs. McCluskey die, and everyone eventually moves away. And all of the housewives go off to live their happy endings. Sounds perfect, right?

The part that gets me is the new neighbor moving into Susan's house. They introduce her and lead us to assume she has some kind of deep, dark secret and then... the end, the show is over. I was so mad. How can you tease me like this? Who is this women? What is her story?

But it lead me to think that they are leaving a door open for a spin-off or movie, and I am all in for that!

Kiss the "Housewives" Goodbye!

As they say, all good things must come to an end and tomorrow "Desperate Housewives" will air one last time. And I am not ready.

While I was not in the group of people that watched the show from the very beginning, when I did catch on I instantly fell in love. I watched every episode and loved every minute of it.  But now the show is ending and I hope they go out with the same bang they came in with. I would hate for a great show to receive a lousy send off.

And to honor the show and our favorite housewives, what better way to say goodbye then to look back at our favorite "Desperate" moments?

Is Lindsay Back?

Was anyone as excited as I was to see Lindsay Lohan host “Saturday Night Live” last night? According to the ratings, lots of people tuned in to watch her. Some probably happy to see her back to acting and some waiting to see her fail. But in my opinion, she did pretty good for someone that has made more court appearances than actual acting in the last few years…

I hope this means she is doing well and the old Lindsay is back because I truly used to love her. Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, and The Parent Trap are still some of my favorite movies.

Season 14 DWTS Cast Revealed!

The new season of "Dancing With the Stars" is almost here and the people at ABC have officially released the names of the celebs that will be competing this season.

And there are some really big names this time around. Gladys Knight, Gavin DeGraw, Sherri Shepard, Maria Menounos, Melissa Gilbert, and a few others will all be competing to win that mirror ball trophy.

I am really excited to see Gavin DeGraw! I love all of his music, now I want to see if he can dance as well as he can sing. I also want to see Jaleel White, who used to play Steve Urkel on “Family Matters” pull out some of his Stefan dance moves.

Wizards of Waverly Place Finale

You are probably saying “aren’t you a little old to be watching that show.” And my answer would be “no.” Yes, I am 23 years old and still watch Disney Channel shows. I also watch ABC Family, Cartoon Network, and Teen Nick (I <3 Degrassi), what of it? Just kidding, but I constantly have to defend myself against people who think it is so immature to watch these shows. Honestly speaking, I would like to hold on to my youth and innocence as long as possible. But back to Wizards.

Tonight was the airing of the finale of Wizards of Waverly Place and I was not feeling it at all. It was so much of an emotional rollercoaster. First, we thought they all lost the competition, then Justin won, then he didn’t, then Alex won, and then finally Justin and Alex became full wizards. Whew… that took a lot out of me.

And of course, it all concluded with a happy ending. Boo! I know this is a show with young viewers, but I think Disney needs to start preparing these kids for failure and heartache. I know that sounds cruel, but the world is not always fair and not everyone gets a happy ending.

But all in all, I will miss this show. At least I still have Good Luck Charlie until she gets too old, then I am totally screwed.

American Horror Story Season 1 Recap!

Last Thursday was the season 1 finale of American Horror Story and today the folks behind the show have released a season wrap-up video. So if you missed this season of AHS, you are in luck! J.D & Turk Reunite?

On Christmas Zach Braff and Donald Faison released their version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and it was hilarious. I hate that I am just now hearing about it today, but I cannot help but smile when seeing these two together. I loved them on Scrubs and I love them even more in real life. They have officially topped my list of favorite bromances! Sorry Vinny and Pauly :(

Christopher Meloni Joins True Blood!!!

Christopher Meloni is heading back to HBO, but not as an “Oz” inmate, but as a vampire on True Blood. Alan Ball, the creator of the show drops a major hint about Meloni’s role in season 5 stating that he will play the role of an “ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.” Sounds intriguing.

I am so happy to hear this news because after he left Law & Order: SVU, I thought I was never going to hear from him again. But I can officially approve of his exit from Law & Order since he is going to my other favorite show.

Since we figured out his next career move, the remaining question is who is he going to play? I read all of the books, but I cannot think of any characters that are going to show up this season. Who do you think Chris will be playing? Let me know below.

Violet Dead on AHS?!!!

 

If you haven’t been watching American Horror Story, you are really missing out. This show is one of my favorites and gets better with each episode. So make sure you check it out.

But back to the topic at hand. Violet is dead. How and when did this happen you ask? According to the show and everyone on the internet, but me, it happened in episode 6 where she overdosed on pills. But I thought she survived since Tate got to her quickly and made her vomit most of this pills. Obviously, she did die and is now one of the spirits who lurks in the house. But what I am still trying to figure out is how I could have missed the point that she was dead for that long. Lots of people on the web already knew, but I was so late. Guess I need to pay a little more attention when watching American Horror Story. They just keep on surprising me!

I really hate that she died because she was one of my favorite characters, even though sometimes she was annoying. But the good thing is if you die in the house, you are stuck in the house indefinitely. So we get to see Violet forever.
